Well, now what?
Most all the hunting seasons are all but over with for the summer. (in Ky anyways) Just wonderinng if any of you guys have started hitting the lake or farm ponds in search of that 1lb bluegill or that trophy largemouth bass? Ive been thinking of trying to do some frog gigging. Its been a few years since i did any, but i think its time to get the boy in on some gigging. Only trouble is finding a good population of frogs.

you can start w/ the pond out in front of my house...actually, it's more a fountain w/ rocks & plants than a pond, lol.
those little tiny guys sure get super loud sometimes, especially when theres a few going at the same time.
probably not too good for eating either. way too small. rabbit would be good eating...except i'm kind of hesitant to eat dirty southern cali urban/suburban rabbits. i don't use pesticides in my garden, but i'm sure the little guys are still nasty w/ tons of lovely urban chemicals, LA smog being the least of the problems. lol. and the local fish...don't get me started on that one... had to get a water softener & filter just to get it to legal standards (which still allows for pretty dirty water), and somewhat usable. that'll give you an idea...

Re: Well, now what?
Got back in to fishing more frequently this spring. Great fishing in my area and I have been ignoring it for too long.
