primer and powder pricing nationwide

hi guys , can you please post a price and location for winchester large and small primers and a can of 231
primers at a recent gun show were $31 per thousand and 24 for a lb can of 231 , so how the prices in your back yard ??

Those would be good round figures in these parts, but a lot of the stock is still coming from stuff I figure guys bought in the Y 2 K scare, older packaging is pretty common.

I dont see prices ever dropping back to "normal" again though.

Ron is right..the days of 14.00 per thousand primers are gone.
those aren't bad prices..you can look in Midway and cabella's websites to see...probably can save some money there if you buy bulk...

If your going to buy powder and primers over the net the only way to buy them is in bulk. Buy at least 5K of primers and at least 4 to 8 pounds of powder. That way your price is good enough that even paying hazmat and shipping you come out with a decent price, usually quite a bit better than the local store will sell em to you.
