Hi all,
I'm a former member returning to this community. I spent several years in the USMC, a few years in law enforcement and many years doing what I enjoy, restoring US muscle cars. I have closed my business due to the economy. I shoot often (mainly pistols) anything from an old 45 wheel gun to 45 S&W M&P 45 (that I carry daily), I shoot a lot of 9mm and 38 spl because it is cheaper and I don't own a 22
. I hunt mostly mule deer. I've been shooting for 30+ years, grew up with guns and learned to respect them and use them like any tool (in a responsible manor for the job required).
I am not what most would consider right wing, then again not left wing, guess I fit in the middle and that frustrates people at times. I have faith and attend church on a semi regular basis but don't consider myself religious, I am a man of faith. My two children are grown, My daughter has a family and blessed me with my first grandchild this year. My son recently completed four years in the USMC with three tours in Iraq. He is now in the reserves and trying to figure out what he wants to do next.
Overall it's a good life filled with good people doing there best in a tough time.

Quite a few folks here have their own views on many things. I think the LAST thing you'll find here is folks in lockstep. While many of us have similar views, they're not all the same.
seems like we are able to get along right fine. I see NO reason that your views would cause much consternation..I would imagine that you'll find new friends and new viewpoints to mull over.
