hah!
HK firearms?

they're ok, but I'm not a big fan of the mp5, while it's accurate, the bolt doesn't lock open when you're out of ammo.
the pistols? meh..they're ok but I can do the same thing with a 1911.
yes, I'm one of those curmudgeonly purists.
If you like yours though, feel free to post gun porn!
I'll keep an eye out for an aluminum case for ya.

H&K is notoriously not friendly with the owners of thier firearms, that said, I like and own some H&K P7 pistols and think that they are wonderful, almost as good as real Colt made 1911 series pistols.

Re: Anyone here collect HK firearms ???, If so, what you got ?
what is that rifle and where do i get one ???
: )
wow...
yeah it sucks that HK hates the civilian market but we love them.
i wish they would have a different outlook and a feeling towards us civilians,
its all in the management of the company, and they have close ties with the UN, perhaps thats why...

LOL yeah..thats the XM8 and you can't have one.
On the other hand, if you REALLY want one, pick yourself up an M1 Garand, put a scope on it and SHOOT some blue bean, UN weenie at about 800 or 1000 yards away. drive over to him after the dust has settled...bingo you now have an XM8..
I would wait till hostilities have formally been declared though...

hehehe...
good way to get one,
looks interesting,
but unfortunately im sure it will not be available for sale, for us the nobodies, the civilians.
H&K hates us... our money is not green to them.

Then why do you support a company that hates you with your money... It's not like there are no other options on the market...some i would dare say just as good, maybe better, and certainly a lot cheaper.

Re: Anyone here collect HK firearms ???, If so, what you got ?
well..he COULD go with Barrett for the rifle side of the equation..More expensive..and they hold their value as good as HK's..plus I'm willing to bet that the least of Ronny's rifles could outshoot an HK...

Re: Anyone here collect HK firearms ???, If so, what you got ?
its not that i support a company that hates me plus on top of it loves UN,
its more that i really love their actual product and the quality as well as the resale value too, and the performance is second to none,
oh and looks too as well as the german engineering...
guess that about sums it up.
oh and, its perhaps the most copied designs of rifles by every other maker, so i guess they got something right : )
and me personally always want the original, not a copy or a clone.
but the company sucks big time.

Re: Anyone here collect HK firearms ???, If so, what you got ?
yes sir,
so in the end as i see it, basically i love the product,
but not the people who run & work for the company and their beliefs or the care & attention they give towards the civilian market and its people...

Know what you mean... went through the same thing with IBM and their operating system OS2... best OS on the market, but ibm didn't want the home market, only large corporations so they ended up killing it off.
