ewww..an automatic ruger!
the first (and last) ruger that I bought (that wasn't a .22 caliber or a revolver) was the p85. didn't like it. it was a boat anchor.

I agree with you, Towerclimber, about the P85 but the SR9 has received pretty good reviews. I have not shot one though. I am interested in looking at this new compact, though.

My brother bought an SR9 about 6 months ago and loves it. I too had one on the Ruger Bricks (P94 40 cal) and while it was a great shooting gun it was just too dang big. I loved the feel of the gun in my hand but I just didn't carry it.
This SR9c looks like it would be much different from the larger guns in the Ruger family. I didn't say that I want one yet. I only want to look. Then if I ever do want one I'll give it some time before making a purchase. Seems that most new guns these are recalled very soon after introduction. I'll wait to hear some owner reviews.
