Help with Remington model 721
I'm trying to mount a scope to a model 721 Remington and the barrel height mounting is higher than the receiver side is there a mount ? do I need to shim ? should I take it to a gunsmith ? Please help

The parts needed to mount the scope on a 721 are made for the height difference. Just make sure you're ordering the correct parts.

See my comments at the other area you posted. I sometimes cant explain things very well, feel free to PM me if you wish, tell me the scope you have, I could supply some part numbers for pretty much what ever set up you have or trying to use.
one or two piece bases fit the 721. From Weavers that cost maybe 6 bucks, to those Talleys, which while great, are way overkill price wise as a cure to the problem
