fobus strikes again. I routinely use a Safarilaminate paddle to carry my M1911. It outperforms the fobus which is just not a serious holster in my opinion.

I've never been a big fan of paddle holsters...Now I know why!

THAT was interesting!!

I always thought those rivets in plastic looked a bit flimsy.

Guess I'll stick to the Bianchi Paddle Holster, when I wear a paddle, and toss the Fobus in the garbage. Generally, I wear a Belly Band, with the gun inside the waistband. Sometimes, though, depending on the situation, I wear a Bianchi Accumold High Ride Belt Holster or the Bianchi Accumold Paddle Holster.

I would point out that the gun and holster in the video WERE NOT CONCEALED.

If you have it concealed, who is going to be grabbing it before you do?

Does concealment really matter if you get is a scuffle and the rivets break off and you draw the gun WITH the holster still attached?
I don't think so, that is why I buy leather.

You usually get what you pay for and Fobus is a cheap holster. I started with one but now use a leather OWB.

Actually i think they are comparing apples and oranges here. Sure if you take a cheaply made kydex holster with one or two rivets holding and then have someone help you do it you will get those results. I'd like to see some one do that to me with my Crossbreed in normal carry. The actual part that holds the gun has 6 rivets holding the kydex and leather together and i just don't see where a simple easy twist is going to do that with it. Take a cheaply made leather holster with half the stitching gone and it will probably do the same thing.
