UpLULA Mag Loader

Post by First Sgt on Mon Aug 03, 2009 9:41 pm

I did a search and couldn't find anything on this, so thought I would share.

Here is a link for a UpLULA Universal Mag Loader: http://www.zahal.org/rifle/p38.htm
I ordered mine from Israel, but several sites in the US sell them.

It's quite a nice thing to have if you plan on shooting and extended number of rounds and need to reload your mags, especially if you are attending some type of specialized training or doing extensive training of your own.

Sure saves the fingers as well as time. Check it out. I highly recommend having one in your range bag.

Great little thumb saver, can't beat em for reloading those 30 round magazines. Also the pistol loaders are great for getting in those last few rounds.

I had a device similar for my Glock mags that fit over the top but you had to push down each round and it was still awkward, this looks very nice. Looks like it would be a big help on new mags which have very stiff springs.

On the pistol loaders you still have to push down, but on the ar/ak loaders there is a toggle that you just flip and drop in a round, flip and drop in the next round. Makes loading those 20 and 30 round magazines a breeze and very fast. Loading pistol mags is not so fast, but on those 12-18 rounders it makes getting those last 6 or so easier.

I have the model to use for pistol magazines. They are great for quickly loading up at IDPA matches. If you get in a rythem with them they go QUICK.

I was going to carry them but Midway was selling them for around $22 which is lower then my dealer cost on them so I didnt' want to compete with that.

Reason I bought one was I was loading some mags at an IDPA match like a chump and then the guy next to me was FLYING through loading his mags with a lula loader. I bought one very soon after.

Ain't no doubt if your gonna load a lot of pistol magazines that they are well worth the money. And for rifle magazines like the 30 or 40 rounders they are a God send for sure.
