The time change

Post by ronryder on Sun 1 Nov - 23:04

Man, I hate it when the time changes, spring and fall. Like on guy said, only a liberal democrat would think that cutting 6 inches off the bottom of a blanket, and sewing it back on top of a blanket, makes the blanket any different length.

Takes me a couple of weeks to adjust. Think of all the good that daylights savings brought about though......still trying to think of something? Me too.

I guess what amazed me, was when I learned how far back the idea went, Franklin or one of them so called smart guys dreamed it up.

ya..i think daylight savings sucks...retarded logic...but...ont the other hand, i wouldnt side w/ arizona here. they are just plain annoying when everywhere else has a particular time, but they are 1 hour off.
i thought it was really dumb how the last prez messed w/ the daylight savings time/date...is that really suppossed to help? i'm surprised super o hasnt proposed some crazy daylight savings thing yet
after all, moving it a couple weeks could solve all our financial sector problems, reduce global warming & our dependence on foreign oil, and best of all, it'll make the iraq war instantly go away. Razz

I think it would be hard to prove that AZ has any more sunshine than NV, but last I knew, they claimed the amount of sun was the reason they dont change.

It was really phony though when they changed the date by a week or what ever it was a couple years back. And I even read some driving study, claiming it has some effect on traffic accidents for some reason.
