Trijicon Optics- Little known fact

Post by Volzfan on Tue Jan 19 2010, 06:36

Here’s a little-known bit of information about Trijicon optics. Did you
know that, for many years, Michigan-based Trijicon Inc. has discretely
placed references to Bible passages on Trijicon optics products? Look
carefully at the codes on the side of Trijicon optics and you’ll note
Biblical references “hidden in plain sight” next to manufacturer
product numbers.

ACOG Scope — ACOG4X32JN8:12
John 8:12 — “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light
of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will
have the light of life.’”

RMR Red-dot — RM01 2PE1:19
2 Peter 1:19 — “And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do
well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day
dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts[.]“

There are discrete Scriptural references such as these on every optics product
Trijicon sells. It’s an interesting feature, we bet few of you knew
about… until now.

Well, when that gets out, they will have to stop and apologize to the jihadists in the US government.

PS: I think I've been seeing you over in the Mississippi Gun Owners forum, Volzfan.

HAH! they'd better not!
I love trijicon sight systems and saw this on the drudge report the other day. This gives me even MORE reason to buy their products. Trijicon is a PRIVATELY owned company and they needn't do anything they don't wish to.
I sincerely hope that they won't take these off their sights.

also..it gives a whole new meaning to having an islamist terrorist in your "CROSShairs". 8)

It's true. A spokesman for the company was interviewed and said that it was started by the company founder who emigrated (legally) from South Africa. He also said that this is a privately owned company and is not required to remove anything, when prompted by the news widget.
I like that.

I saw that last night, couldnt sleep, and caught the preview on Nightline.

Apparently, its been going on for quite some time. What I find amusing, and very telling, is that the news writers keep calling the scriptures, "codes" though I suppose they are included in what one might call the "product code line"

Also had to laugh at their brain power, someone is apparently distributing New Testaments in Arabic, and the news call called them, "New Testament Bibles". No dip stick, the "Bible" contains both Old and New Testaments.

And I dont buy off on the notion that they may not be Gentile, I am not Jewish, nor muslim, yet I know what the Torah is, as well as the koran.

One always assumes, that America is a nation of Christians, but with concern with such stories as the above, and such idiotic terminology in their reporting, we should realize that far too many, missed their weekly dose of "sunday school" as a kid.

Am seeing today, they are recalling those in the field, and will no longer continue this.

Any that claim Christianity is not under at a minimum, legal persecution, needs to quite lying to their self.

That's screwed up.

What do you want to bet that the new trijicon scopes won't be as popular as the old ones?

I emailed them and told them what I thought about their caving in, got a automated response saying I would be contacted. We will see.

If they have been doing this for a long time, and apparently they have, it makes one wonder why the story broke now.

And the answers are likely obvious, if we knew how that contracting game is played.
