Hi UK resident wondering why you all believe you need guns?

any justifications? because it's not really very hard as a student of sociology to see that gun related violence is concentrated in countries where gun ownership is legal.

ie they do not seem to protect you in any way, shape, or form.

How about introducing yourself first before your start inflamatory topics sir.

The point is one advert states "would you burglarize (sorry if mispelled, we don't use that word) this home" As if stickers of guns will put me off. If i am driven to steal from a house because of the inequality in your society would i not break in quietly and then shoot the householder in the head. Which obviously is a bit more serious than getting my tv stolen.

I also dont care about the way you folks live on the outher side of the pond so to speak.
Here we still live free pretty much and are not subjects to the point we cannot defend ourselves
with out going to prison. So you folks keep your socialistic life to yourselves as we dont

Well i get to be free not to live in fear of being shot, and thats kind of a big freedom really. You just like guns and you don't really care about the consequences.

Not caring about what happens in other countries means that you have no context in which to understand the behaviours of your own country. So no wonder you think your free....

There are very few consequences when law abiding citizens with carry permits are roaming the streets of America. That is except for the consequences of a criminal trying to do us harm. You would have no need to be fearful of me because I am carrying a gun unless you are about to do harm to me or my family. I am not on the prowl for someone to shoot. I hope to never have to shoot anyone and I don't know any other permit holder who does look forward to having to take another's life. That will be the choice of the criminal, not me.
The number of permit holders that are involved in criminal activity is minuscule. The Police cannot/will not protect us from criminal activity unless just by sheer luck that they are in the right place at the right time.
You should do a little homework.
