Were waiting to see a picture of your new Sig.
I'll post it. I got an email from Bud's that they received my payment today and they will let me know when it actually ships. It ain't as pretty as the 226 Elite but I like it.

Very nice Volzfan. I'll be waiting on a range report.

This is the first pistol that I have bought that came with a target. They put 6 rds thru it in a tight group but were low and left.
My cousin and I just got home from a quick range trip. I had 2 free passes for an indoor range near downtown Nashville. I had not been there in 5 or 6 years and it will be at least that long if I ever go back. I knew that I was not thrilled with it before and I was hoping that they had made some improvements but that was wishful thinking. They would only allow the targets at the full length of the range. Nothing under 60 ft. I usually practice at about 25 ft.
My first mag was a bit wild but I haven't shot in 3 or 4 months and this was with a new gun. The next mag was better hitting most in the 7 ring with some in the 8, low and left. Beginning with the 3rd mag everything was 8 in, mostly in. I am by no means a competitive shooter but since I haven't shot much in the last 6 months or more I am fairly pleased with the trip. I know that I will improve as I can afford to shoot mor and get used to this new gun.
The DA trigger was smooth and at 10 lbs was not bad. The SA was a breeze. I'll be looking to see how well I do the next time that I get to shoot at my normal distance. I'm very sure that there will be a huge difference.
Overall, I am very happy with my new Sig. Sig quality, Siglite Night Sites and 2 - 12rd mags can't be beat for only $489 total.
