Reasonable to good prices

Post by James on Tue 26 Jan - 9:45

Was checking with Cheaper That Dirt and found some decent prices on some ammo if anyone is looking. Here is a short list on some of the prices:

223 For $4.79 box of 20
243 For $16.11 box of 20
7.62x39 For $4.79 box of 20
308 Nato For $12.00 box of 20
30-06 $25.81 box of 20
9mm Lugar $14.12 box of 50
40SW $16.49 box of 20
45acp $0.56 each in box of 250 for $140

Not always the greatest ammo, but certainly good enough for practice and plinking.

Yes, it was announced in a gun publication that prices are coming down across the board. Who wouda thunk.

Lots of reasons, important as ammo is, most folks still put beans and bacon as more important.

And there are only so many active shooters out there, sooner or later they will draw a line and figure they have enough for any up coming rodeo.

And the non shooters, but those nervous about things, generally buy one or two boxes and figure its good enough.

The ammo makers KNOW that they have to make hay now, after all, guys are gonna be stocked for the next 5 years, and the ammo makers are bound to see a huge slow down in the near future.

I suppose we have new shooters coming into the stream bit by bit to make things up, but we also have older ones cashing in every day, and their existing stocks still viable.

Its an odd game.

I'm all about the buy option... LOL!

before I lost my job I would spend around 3-4k a year in ammo.
those days are long gone now...I've got plenty of ammo and reloading materials..I need a dang job though.
